"Creating new habits, breaking old ones, and setting goals are huge parts of a new year, yet how many times have we said, “Next year I’m going to…” and not succeeded? Generally, when we think of fitness, we think of training the body. However, we’ve also all been told things like, “your mind will give up before your body will.” Behavior change coaching is becoming a huge part of personal training and health coaching, because trainers are realizing that we can put together grueling workouts, but we can’t be there with our clients the other 166 hours/week that they aren’t with their trainer. A good coach will set you up so that you are motivated toward your goal every hour of the day, not just the 60 minutes you spend in the gym.“
